Fantastic class! Learnt so much, great group of people, and fabulous food all day! Took home lots of lovely sourdough bread…
A fantastic day spent with friends learning about baking bread. Our host was very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable. The bakery provided a delicious lunch and bottomless drinks. Came home with lots of delicious loaves of bread. Certainly worth the drive from Melbourne. Would highly recommend to others.
Thoroughly enjoyed the all day sour dough workshop. Well fed all day. Felt like we were trainees having our hands covered in flour from the beginnings of our own dough to shaping and whilst left to prove we had a lobely baked lunch with hot drinks. Absolutely fun to learn an olde skill using the paddle to put our bread in the hot wood fired oven and ecstatic when we each took out our cooked loaves which we were ladened with full box to take home to share with our families. Our Baker teacher Lise gave step by step tutorial and was very encouraging with our efforts. Had great feedback from everyone who have been lucky to try my hot sour dough bread. Highly recommend this workshop at Red Beard Bakery in Trentham .
