What a fantastic day! In the first 5 minutes I learnt 2 major things I had been doing wrong with my sourdough all these years. John is as passionate as he is knowledgeable, and has the scientific quals to back up what he says. This workshop is for people who genuinely want to learn how to bake sourdough from a world renowned expert. The bonus is you get to work with the historic Scotch oven and take home a stack of delicious bread that you baked. And on top of the learning and the baking experience you get fantastic food and coffee all day long.
What a great day! I learnt a lot and answered many questions I had about bread making. It totally exceeded my expectations. John is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable host. I would recommend to anyone interested making bread, or in using that awesome old scotch oven.
