I began dabbling with sourdough when I retired 10 years ago with only intermittent success. I had researched the subject extensively on the internet but was not able to achieve consistent results. Eventually I gave up and bought a bread machine .
When I heard of Red Beard’s Sourdough Course, I decided to give it another go and travelled from Brisbane to attend the Workshop. I am very glad I did. I was impressed by John’s Reid’s passion for the subject. His presentation, our hands on experience and his willingness to answer questions kept my interest for the duration of the workshop. I discovered what I had been doing wrong in my previous efforts, and I left the workshop enthusiastic and eager to put all that I had learnt into practice.
