This class was incredible! Learning the history of sourdough (or wild fermented bread), the history of the amazing scotch oven and the bakery while getting the benefit of baker John's absolute passion for his job and for real food was the perfect way to spend a Sunday. In fact, I feel like I could have spent a week there and still have wanted more!
The food we were provided throughout the day was fresh and delicious, and all the staff were welcoming and lovely. My classmates were friendly and as interested in the class as I was - I would highly recommend!
Really great day!!! Enjoyed every moment, really informative about the history of bread and the beautiful woodfired oven. Would encourage everyone to give it a go and make a day of it enjoy a scenic drive there and back.
